Glossier Skin Tint & Stretch Concealer

Glossier expanded the shade range of their Skin Tint and Stretch Concealer to include more shade options of deeper skin tones and I couldn’t be more excited. Originally, there were only 5 shades of each product and now there’s 12. I’m proud to say that a friend and New Orleans native, makeup artist Fatimot Isadara had a hand in helping the brand become more inclusive in their complexion offerings.

I was invited to discover and experience the new shades by Glossier and Black Girls Who Blog during an event the two were hosting in New York, where I had the chance to play around with the products and have Fatimot help me find and apply my shades in the Skin Tint and Stretch Concealer. The event was filled with black bloggers from around New York and it was so amazing to be in the room.

After the event, all attendees were gifted their shade of Glossier Skin Tint and Stretch Concealer, which I was super excited about. Of course, I had to share my review of the two products for you, so here it is:

How Much Does the Glossier Skin Tint & Stretch Concealer Cost? The Glossier Skin Tint is $26 & the Stretch Concealer is $18.

Glossier Skin Tint & Stretch Concealer Coverage

As you’ve probably already figured out from the name, the coverage of the Skin Tint is very sheer. It’s supposed to impart a tint to the skin but the consistency of the product is so fluid that you can hardly tell you’ve applied any product. The Stretch Concealer has a bit more coverage so you’re able to minimize the look of blemishes that peek through the Skin Tint.

Glossier Skin Tint & Stretch Concealer Finish

The finish of the Skin Tint is super dewy and it only gets dewier throughout the day. As someone with oily skin, I prefer to add a powder on top to minimize the shine. If you prefer that dewy, skin-like look, then you will like this product.

As for the Stretch Concealer, it’s a bit thicker but still flexible enough to melt into the skin for an undetectable finish. I love using this combo of Skin Tint and Stretch Concealer for no-makeup looks when I may have a few minor blemishes and want my skin to look healthy and natural.

I wear shade G5 in both the Skin Tint and Stretch Concealer

Who the Glossier Skin Tint & Stretch Concealer are for

The Skin Tint and Stretch Concealer are for girls that love super dewy, natural looking skin. They’re for people who already have healthy skin and want to enhance the look with a very sheer base and concealer. They are not for people with naturally oily skin who are looking to wear one product, as you’ll have to add a powder to minimize excess shine. The Stretch Concealer is also for people who

Overall, I like both products for when my skin is behaving and I’ve been drinking a lot of water lol but I can see myself using the Stretch Concealer a lot more than the Skin Tint just because I like a little bit more coverage and a more mattifying base. I’m hoping Glossier comes out with a version of the Skin Tint for those of us with oily skin but until then, I’ll stick to my Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Skin Perfector.
