I was so late on the essential oils train but I’m finally aboard and I’m so happy I got with the program. Essential oils can be used for so many things but I love them for aromatherapy. I discovered Vitruvi a while ago and started fantasizing about one sitting on my dresser, filling my room with beautiful scents. I was hesitant to buy it because of the hefty price tag but I went for it and haven’t looked back sense.
The Vitruvi Stone Diffuser comes in various neutral shades but I decided to go with the terracotta color to match the boho luxe vibe I was going for. It’s a muted orange that just looks great in my space. I’d described the Vitruvi stone diffuser as a luxury home product as there are other options that are way cheaper, however, the sleek design of this diffuser is so gorgeous. It’s a smaller machine so I’d recommend it for smaller spaces like a bedroom or bathroom. If you have a larger space, you may need two of these to get the scents to throw.
There are two time settings that allow the diffuser to run consistently for three-hour and intermittent 7.5-hour. The outer material is a porcelain cover and the inner water reservoir is made of BPA-free plastic. The machine automatically turns off when the time is up or water runs out. There’s also a line on the outside of the water reservoir that indicates the maximum amount of water you can fill it with. Each stone diffuser comes with a 1-year warranty.
The Vitruvi Diffuser will run you $119 and the single oils start at $13 going up to $30 for their specialty oil blends. Now, I know that this is a lot of coins to spend on a diffuser but you’re paying for the design and the quality of the products. If you’re not concerned with the aesthetics, you can find one cheaper but I love how this one looks and I think it’s worth the price.
Favorite Essential Oils
I love the Grapefruit, Lavender, Cedarwood, and Eucalyptus essential oils from Vitruvi. I mix and match them to create scents based on my mood. I usually add the Eucalyptus to any of the others to create either a bright, calming, or woody scent. My favorite of the 4 oils is the Cedarwood scent as it smells like a subtle but masculine cologne.
Each diffuser also comes with a cute little cup to fill the water reservoir. The only issue I’ve experienced is a little discoloration on the stone cover. It’s not too noticeable but if it becomes a problem, I can purchase a replacement cover. Overall, the design and function of the Vitruvi diffuser make it worth the money.
