Highlighters are getting a lot of attention lately; everyone is trying to make sure that their “highlight on fleek”. I personally love highlighters. My first love was the Dior Skin Shimmer Powder in Amber Diamonds. If you don’t remember that one, then look below. It’s one of the four highlighters that are on the top of my list. These all look so different but so good.
Like any other beauty product, you need different shades, formulas, and textures for different occasions. The newest addition to the pack is the ish beauty contour kit in medium/dark that I got in my Spring FabFitFun box. The palette is amazing but the highlighter, in particular, is what knocked it out of the park for me. It’s not too powdery and it’s the perfect mix of bronze and champagne.
The Urban Decay Flushed palette in Native is a cool-toned bronzer, blush, and highlighter palette that I love to use in the winter. I love this little compact palette with its large mirror. I also love how the highlighter is on the more champagne side for cooler months.
Lastly, we have the Colourpop pearlized Super Shock Cheek highlighter in Avalon that is the ultimate summer highlighter for me. It’s a bronzy copper color that is right up my street. It’s super warm and that’s why I love it so much. The texture of the highlighter is like a mousse and it glides on beautifully when using the fingertips. For 8 bucks, it’s a total steal!
