Continuing on with my brand loves… Here we have NARS Blushes, aka the creme de la creme of cheek colors, aka I know you have one.. or three, aka “Orgasm blush, lipstick and concealer”. I’m fancy huh?
Nars blushes are so famous, especially when it comes to my makeup collection. I own three singles blushes: Orgasm, Luster and Sin. I also just added the Guy Bourdin palette which includes Devotee (highlighter), Laguna (Bronzer) and four blushes, Orgasm, Mistinguette, DeepThroat, and Goulue.
The blushes are so soft, satiny, and pigmented. The color range is amazing and the packaging is perfection. I am kind of obsessed with blush and the formula of these blushes just make my obsession that much more solid. Orgasm is a cult favorite. Nars has created an entire collection around the color. I love wearing this shade in the warmer months for that subtle glow. Luster is a new favorite. I wear it on my no-makeup makeup days. Sin is perfect for fall. I love Deep Throat and Goulue (LE) for everyday also. I haven’t worn Mistinguette (LE) that often but I will now that Spring is arriving. I’m excited to play with that one. Laguna is too light for me to contour with but it can work as an all over bronze.
I really want to get my hands on the Spring 2014 blushes in the Final Cut Collection. They are so basic and that’s what I’m all about when it comes to spring looks.
If you’ve never tried a Nars blush, get out from under that rock and head to your nearest Nars counter. Swatch them to see which shade is right for you. I’m sure you’ll find something.
