Celine Fragrance Review: Parade & Black Tie

Celine, an epitome of timeless elegance and sophistication in the fashion world, has made its grand debut in the fragrance arena with The Haute Parfumerie Collection. Today I’m sharing my Celine fragrance review.

During my trip to London, I had a chance to experience the 11 fragrances in person at the Celine counter in Harrod’s and fell in love with these scents. They truly embody luxury and come with a price tag that matches. I had two favorites out of the 11 scents and decided to pick up the Parade perfume and my sister surprised me with my other favorite, Black Tie, as my birthday present. Let’s get into my Celine Fragrance Review and if I think they’re worth the price.

Packaging

If you’ve been reading this blog for a while, then you know that I love products in beautiful packaging. When I saw these, I immediately added them to my shopping list. I’m a sucker for beautiful packaging and the bottles housing these fragrances are a testament to true opulence. They seamlessly blend modern aesthetics with a touch of vintage. The weight alone exudes luxury and feels great to hold. The inspiration from late 17th-century classicism and art deco is evident in every detail, from the textured, embossed labels to the fluted edges adorning the glass bottles. The magnetized caps, embossed with the iconic Triomphe logo, are a work of art. These bottles might just be the most beautifully designed perfume bottles I’ve ever seen.

Although these look amazing on my perfume shelf, I am also very obsessed with the scents. So let’s get into the fragrance notes of Celine Parade and Black Tie.

Fragrance Notes

Celine Parade opens with the bright and refreshing notes of Bergamot and Neroli, transitioning into the heart of Vetiver, Musk, and Oak Moss. In contrast, Celine Black Tie is a seductive masterpiece, featuring White Orris Butter and Cedar, beautifully complemented by Tree Moss, Vanilla, and Musk. According to the Celine website, Parade is a daytime scent, while Black Tie is for night and although you can wear them anytime, I love the idea of having one for each time of day.

Celine Parade is a versatile fragrance suitable for year-round daytime wear, exuding an understated elegance perfect for any occasion. On the other hand, Celine Black Tie is your ideal evening companion, exuding a mysterious and alluring charm

Both fragrances are characterized by a flirty warmth, making them suitable for individuals who wish to exude a confident and inviting aura.

Longevity & Sillage

While I don’t have the strongest sense of smell and all fragrances tend to fade to my nose after a couple of hours on the skin, it’s important to note that fragrances can behave differently on individuals and to each person’s nose. Others around you may still catch delightful whiffs of Celine Parade and Celine Black Tie even after hours of wear, making these fragrances a subtle yet nice presence.

The initial burst of these scents is noticeable, but they gracefully settle into a subtle sillage that envelops you in an air of sophistication.

Price and Value

The perfumes come in 3 sizes, the travel size refills which are .5 fl oz and $110 USD for a set of 2, 3.4 fl. oz/100 ml for $280 USD, and 6.8 fl. oz/200 ml for $410 USD. If you want to experience the full collection, there’s also a 10-fragrance mini coffret that costs $385 USD.

I got both in the 3.4 fl, oz, they cost a little less in London, which is why I could not pass up the chance to pick these up.

While these fragrances come at a premium, the exceptional quality of the scents and the luxurious packaging make them an excellent investment for fragrance enthusiasts and luxury aficionados.

Final Verdict

What sets Celine Parade and Celine Black Tie apart is their harmonious blend of captivating scents and impeccable packaging. They offer a fresh take on luxury fragrances, beautifully showcasing Celine’s unique touch.

The moment these fragrances touch your skin, your mood is instantly uplifted. They evoke a sense of luxury and I’m so glad these are in my collection and will be for a long time.

I highly recommend Celine Parade and Celine Black Tie Perfumes to those who appreciate the intersection of luxury fashion and fragrance. Despite the fact that I can become noseblind quickly after applying these, both Celine Parade and Celine Black Tie Perfumes deserve a rating of 4.5. I am obsessed with these scents and think everyone should check these out.
