I realized that it’s been a minute since I’ve shared an update on my skincare routine. I’ll be sharing my full skincare routine in a future post but for now, I thought I’d tell you about the anti-aging skincare products I’ve been using from Fresh. These products came into my life in January of last year, which means I’ve been using them for a full year now. I shared these on my Instagram back in April (follow me there to get the beauty updates first) but I can’t believe I haven’t told you about these products here. I’m finally ready to share my secret, so here is my Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve review.

Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Face Cream
The Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Face Cream with Super 7 Complex has been my morning moisturizer for the past year so I think it’s safe to say it’s here to stay. I use this right after cleansing, toning, and applying my morning serum and/or oil. It’s housed in a glass jar which looks great on my bathroom counter but isn’t ideal for traveling. Some key ingredients in the Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Face Cream are Super 7 Complex which is supposed to help hydrate and boost radiance for a more youthful look, as well as Maca Root Extract which is meant to help give skin a luminous appearance. This moisturizer has lived up to its claims of improving hydration and radiance. It’s supposed to work well for all skin types but I can only speak for my combo oily skin. The texture is creamy but absorbs quickly into the skin leaving a supple, non-greasy finish. This is the perfect first step to prep my skin before my makeup routine. It also smells like tea, which I love.
Note: Fresh have just reformulated the Youth Preserve Face Cream. I will be updating this post with my review of the new formula once I run out of the original.

Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Dream Face Cream
The Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Dream Face Cream has been a dream for my skin. It’s a bit thicker than the Lotus Youth Preserve Face Cream but feels like there’s more water in it, so it absorbs quickly, leaving my skin feeling very hydrated. It’s formulated with amazing ingredients like Super Lotus which helps to hydrate, boost radiance, and deliver antioxidant protection and Peach Leaf Extract to help skin look and feel refreshed overnight. I love the fact that this moisturizer comes in a beautiful blue frosted glass jar and smells like peaches but not overbearingly so. If you couldn’t already tell, this is my favorite product out of the Lotus Youth Preserve line. My skin loves this stuff as it makes my skin look replenished overnight. I use this as the last step in my night routine after cleansing, toning, serums and/or oils.

Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Eye Cream
I had been researching eye creams for a beginner anti-aging routine and read great things about the Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Eye Cream. Similar to the Face Cream, it’s made with Super 7 Complex to minimize and prevent early signs of aging, boost radiance, and provide antioxidant protection. It also has Star Fruit Extract which is supposed to protect the skin from radical damage. The texture is super thick and creamy, just how I like my eye cream and it leaves my under eyes feeling silky but moisturized. Just like the other products in this line, the eye cream comes in a frosted glass jar and it also smells faintly of tea.
Note: As I mentioned above, the Face Cream was recently reformulated to include Super Lotus which is also in the Dream Face Cream, and so has the eye cream. I will be updating this post with my review of the new formula once I run out of the original.

Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Rescue Mask
The Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Rescue Mask is a quick 5-minute treatment that can be used 2-3 times a week to gently exfoliate the skin to reveal a more radiant look. It contains Super 7 Complex to help hydrate, improve radiance, and give you younger looking skin, a Blend of Kombu Seaweed Flakes, Red Algae Particles, and Lotus Seeds to refine and smooth skin texture, and Sea Fennel Extract to help to smooth and enhance suppleness. I love using this whenever I feel like my skin looks tired and lifeless. After cleansing, I’ll massage this onto damp skin and let it work for 5 minutes, then, I’ll add warm water to massage my skin and rinse it away.
As with the Lotus Youth Preserve Face and Eye creams, you could be seeing this get an upgrade to include the Super Lotus ingredient. Stay tuned for updates.

Final Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Review: Overall, the Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve line has been a great introduction to adding anti-aging products into my routine as the ingredients are gentle but effective. I think this would a great line to try if you’re also just starting to think about anti-aging products. If you’re more experienced in that area, these products may be too elementary for you as when it comes down to it, they’re just really great moisturizing products. That’s not to say that everyone couldn’t benefit from these, since moisture is the foundation of any good skincare routine. The Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve line is amazing for preventing signs of aging (along with SPF, of course) but to see real anti-aging results, you can pair these products with some powerful serums and acids.
