Gift Ideas For Travelers
Guys, can you believe that Christmas is in 8 days?! I sure can’t. So sorry that the gift guides this year are up later and on the lighter side than they were last year. I’ve been wrapping up my internship and I started working for the holidays. More about that in the next post. Â Anyways.. Today, I’m sharing my gift ideas for people who travel alot, or want to start traveling. These are all practical but cute gifts that will make traveling a breeze for everyone.
Headphones
I had to start off with headphones because I think this is the most necessary out of everything on this list, and I think everyone who has traveled anywhere can agree. There are so many cute headphones now, so why not help someone listen in style.
TSA-Approved Beauty/Grooming
Nothing kills the excitement of heading to a fun and new place more than having your favorite beauty products tossed in the trash right before boarding your flight. Give them their beauty/grooming favorites in TSA-approved miniature sizes to avoid the hurt of wasted product.
Watch
A watch is essential when traveling because you always need to be aware of the time when you’re on a schedule. My favorite watch right now is the Apple Watch. I have the series 1 and I love it. In addition to telling me what time it is, the maps app helps me get around, weather keeps me prepared, and the fitness activity tracker keeps me aware and helps me reach my fitness goals throughout the day. I also really like the minimal design of Cluse watches!
Leggings
Leggings are the most comfortable bottoms to travel in. Give your travel obsessed friend the gift of comfort. Go with leggings that are thick but breathable that are not see through. Fill free to pair them with an oversized sweater or a poncho that doubles as a blanket to cozy up in while flying.
Comfy Shoes
When I travel, I have to have on comfy shoes that are easy to slip off and on when going through TSA and comfortable enough for long travel days. You’ll want to go with something that’s simple with not too many straps or strings. A would go for sneakers or a nice pair of slip-ons. Some of my favorites are the Achillies from Common Projects, Converse’s, and any Nikes.
Wallet + Pouches
A good, roomy wallet will always be a staple for any seasoned traveler. They will always need a wallet with lots of card slots, cash slots, and coin pockets to keep their currency in and a pouch to keep important documents organized. I love Comme des Garcons’ wallets and pouches and Rag & Bone’s.
Luggage
I’ve been seeing the marble suitcases by Calpak all over Instagram, and it has made me want a new luggage set. I’ve never had a grown-up luggage set and I want to travel more next year, so this is the perfect gift for me. I think everyone can benefit from new luggage, especially someone who travels/wants to travel a lot in the near future.
