What’s up, guys! I took a little break for the holidays but I missed TLM squad so much! I actually got sick over the holidays so my break wasn’t really a relaxing one. I’m still not 100% percent better but I missed blogging too much, so I’m here today with a review of the Bite Beauty Matte Crème Lip Crayons. So, I’m just going to jump right into the review…
Bite Beauty is sold exclusively at Sephora USA & Canada.
Packaging: I like to give my thoughts on the packaging first since it’s the first thing you notice about the product. Even if it’s your first time on my blog, you can tell by the name that I love a bit of luxury and minimalism. You get my aesthetic right away, so you can probably guess from looking at the photos above that I would love the packaging of these lip crayons. I love the simplistic and minimal design of Bite’s signature packaging.
Some people may be put off by the fact that you can’t tell what shade each crayon is without taking off the cap or reading the shade name at the bottom, which is printed in a very small font. Honestly, if I had a larger collection of these crayons, I’d probably get annoyed trying to find a particular shade, but I do love the simplistic packaging. As I said before, you can easily tell the shade once you remove the cap since the plastic around the actual crayon matches the shade exactly. The packaging is made of a hard, durable plastic which makes it feel expensive in your hand. Another cool thing about the design is that even though these crayons twist up, there’s a hidden sharpener stored at the bottom of each crayon to get a precise application on the go.

Pigmentation & Texture: The Bite Beauty Matte Crème Lip Crayons*, $24 each, are moisturizing and highly pigmented, however, they are not quite matte. As a liquid and matte lipstick lover, right away I could tell these would be different. The matte crème lip crayons glide on smoothly and are pigmented even with one application. Although they’re not as matte as your typical liquid or matte lipstick, they do dry to a semi-matte finish with a slight sheen. The upside of them not drying like the typical matte lipstick, is that they won’t leave your lips looking and feeling dry and flaky throughout the day. I love the smooth texture of these matte crème lip crayons. My only concern is that since they are so creamy, it’s easy for them to move around on the lips. I’d blot and apply translucent powder to ensure the color stays in the place.
Otherwise, these matte crème lip crayons are amazing! I highly recommend these if you’re looking for high quality, highly pigmented, natural lip products. I love that Bite Beauty uses natural ingredients in their products and they are all so highly pigmented and moisturizing. I consider them a luxury brand because of this and I can’t wait to try more from them.
