NYC: Eats Restaurant & Bar

Ever since the boy moved to New York, we’ve tried to go to new restaurants. I have a habit of finding a place I love and eating it all the time until I grow tired of it. I’ve tried to avoid doing that since we live in one of the most diverse places in the world.

One day after work, my boyfriend and I wandered through Central Park. The walk turned out to be very tiring and we were starving after. I found this place called Eats Restaurant and Bar on Lexington ave on the Upper East Side.

We instantly fell in love with the vibe of this restaurant as soon as we walked in. They played soulful music by Lauryn Hill, India Arie, and Aaliyah. The lighting was dimmed and the staff was very friendly. We decided to sit by the huge window because I wanted to get good pictures for this post.

We started the meal with margaritas – I got mango and he got pineapple. They both were really good!

We both went with bacon burgers and fries and they were delicious! Seriously, I have had a lot of burgers and fries, so I know the good from the eh. If you’re ever on the Upper East Side, check out Eats Restaurant and Bar for good food, good drinks, and good vibes.
