The Fall Fashion Edit 2017
It’s Fall and I promise not to bore you with the same old “Fall is my favorite time of year” song. Today, I’m sharing my Fall Fashion Edit. This is what I’m shopping for this season, to get that cozy, chic, I’m not cold at all look.
I’m so excited about this season’s fashion. I’m still honing my personal style but there are certain things that I always go back to. Above are some essentials that I love for Fall.
I love that chic, clean, and put together look. However, there is a thin line between that and coming off as boring and too safe. I’m in the process of trying to find a balance in looking put together but not too perfect. That’s why, this season, I plan on trying some trends to amp up my look. In this Edit are pieces that are trendy but still timeless that can transition with me as my style evolves.
Trends to try
Here are some of the trends I’m trying out for Fall:
Plaid
Plaid is back and better than ever. The print was shown during FW17 shows by designers including Alexander Wang, Bottega, Stella McCartney, and Chloé. Plaid is the perfect addition to a chic, minimal wardrobe, when done in monochrome colors and interesting shapes.
Burgundy Everything
I am so into the head to toe burgundy look for FW17 and so were a lot of designers. Brock Collection and Victoria Beckham are just a couple of designers that presented the monochrome look. Burgundy is such a rich color, without being too in your face.
Sock Boots
We saw them all over earlier runways during Yeezy and Burberry SS17 and they’ve made their way into Fall. Sock boots are a sleek and sexy way to add an expected touch to your outfit. Plus, they go with a lot of different personal styles.
Denim, in all shapes & sizes
Denim is still in, but skinny jeans have been kicked to the curb. This season, I’m venturing into a new world of straight legs and cropped flares.
What are you most excited to wear this Fall?
