Leather in the Summer
Top: / Jeans: Hudson / Shoes: Birkenstock / Bag: Alexander Wang / Watch: Marc by Marc Jacobs
I wore this outfit to go to a birthday dinner with some friends. I was skeptical about wearing these Hudson Stark Moto jeans because they are coated to give them a leather look. I am obsessed with these jeans and I hardly ever wear them, so I went for it. I love the moto look on the knees of them; it’s my favorite feature on the jeans. There are also slanted silver zippers at the pockets, which add to their edgy look. I love little details on my clothing. I am obsessed with the cool feel of these jeans; they were made for me.
Since I couldn’t bear to leave out the house without my Birkenstocks, they also found their way into this outfit. The Nubuck color can go with anything and they dressed down my otherwise dressy black and white outfit. I’ve been wearing my Rocco bag lately and I can’t stop looking at the rose gold studs on the bottom. Every time I look at it, it’s like love at first sight.
Staying in the rose gold family, I wore my Marc by Marc Jacobs watch that I also recently got resized. It’s a maroon color with rose gold going around it’s face. Marc by Marc Jacobs is one of my favorite brands. Their accessories are always spot on. Overall, I loved this outfit. I was really comfortable and I liked that the details made the statement.
We all went to Felipe’s in the French Quarters and to a Karoke bar after. At Felipe’s, I had an order of Nachos with Chicken on top and a strawberry mango margarita. Both were amazing. Of course we performed and the crowd loved us. It was a great time with great people.
What are your thoughts on wax coated jeans in the warmer months?
