Summer Fridays Super Amino Gel Cleanser Review
Summer Fridays have been knocking it out of the park since they released their first product, the Jet Lag Mask (reviewed here) and the Summer Fridays Super Amino Gel Cleanser is no different. This cleanser removes all dirt, makeup and oil leaving my skin feeling fresh and smooth. You can feel the 11 Amino Acids working to replenish your skin. The cleanser is simple but so effective after just a couple of weeks of use. The texture is a fluid gel that slightly lathers when mixed with water in the hand. I prefer more of a lather in my cleanser and have found that using the Summer Fridays Super Amino Gel Cleanser with my Clarisonic gives me the suds I need. The smell is clean and reminds me of a beachy scent.
This wouldn’t be a luxe minimalist review if I didn’t talk about the packaging. I LOVE the mint green glass bottle design of this cleanser. Glass just feels so much more luxe and looks great on the bathroom counter. It’s not ideal for traveling but that’s nothing a reusable travel-sized tube can’t fix.
2022 Update: The packaging of the Super Amino Gel Cleanser has been updated to a squeeze tube and it’s no longer available in the glass bottle and pump dispenser I loved. The updated packaging does make it more travel friendly.
I use this day and night. You only need a small amount, about 1 pump, to get a full cleanse.
Is the Summer Fridays Super Amino Gel Cleanser worth it?
The gentleness and effectiveness of this cleanser blew me away and I can see myself repurchasing this when it runs out. This is the perfect cleanser for someone with combo oily skin like myself. I’ve also read reviews from people with dry skin and they seem to love it as well.
