I wore this to the Teen Vogue Fashion U kick-off party at the Express store in Times Square. The event was fun and everyone came out to celebrate the start of a fun and motivational weekend. Mocktails and small bites were served. There were these miniature cheeseburgers that, like anything miniature sized, were so cute!
I didn’t love anything I packed for the weekend, so naturally, I went shopping. The Guess coat and Joe’s jeans made the cut from my luggage but the Zara knit sweater and Topshop black pointed heels were new additions to my wardrobe. I am now obsessed with the latter two pieces. I’ve never been a pointed-toe-heels girl but I am now converted. I saw these in the Topshop store on 5th ave. and it was love at first sight.
I’m also equally smitten with this Zara knit. You can’t see it here, but there are slits on each side. Love. However, I have to part with it until next winter since it’s 70 plus degrees in New Orleans now. I was too caught up in the 30 degree chill in New York when I purchased this. And I regret nothing.
Now I have to do prepare for the hotter months ahead, both in the fitness and fashion departments. Are you ready for Spring and Summer? What’s on your shopping list? I need ideas!
