I am a creature of habit and will always return to a nude lip and a gold/bronze/neutral eye. I recently placed a small order on NET-A-PORTER for some luxury beauty products in my go-to shades. I’ve been really wanting an easy product to use to get an everyday glam eye look. I decided to try out one of the Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerise in Bette Eyes.
I’m a newbie to Charlotte Tilbury and all I can say to myself after using Bette Eyes is, “Girl, what took you so long?” It is a beautiful, shimmery gold-brown cream eyeshadow. Not only that, it also comes in gorgeous packaging. The pot that holds the cream eyeshadow is made of frost glass, making it feel extra luxe.
According to NET-A-PORTER.com:
“This buildable water-infused formula is blended with hydrating Vitamin E and soft-focus pigments to smooth over lines and imperfections.”
This formula is described as being long-wearing, with buildable color payoff. I have to say that this passed the long-wear test, staying on my lids through an 8 hour work day and beyond, with no need for a primer. As you can see in the swatches, the color can be applied lightly for sheer pigmentation or intensified with a second layer.
It is recommended that this be applied with fingers or a blending brush, but I went with the first options and got great results.
The Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerise in Bette Eyes The Easiest Product for a Glam Eye Look solved my problem of needing an eye product for an easy, everyday look. These are SO easy to use and give an amazing color payoff. There are currently only 6 shades in this range, but I’m sure they will expand. Recommend: 10/10
