When I first saw the sneak peek of the NARS Wanted Eyeshadow Palette, I quickly bookmarked it because I knew I had to have it. NARS’ eyeshadow formula is one of my favorites – they’re buttery, pigmented and easy for an eye makeup minimalist like me to use. Since ordering this palette, it’s been my go-to for anytime I dress up for a nice dinner, event or even on a casual day hanging out in the city.
The shade selection is what really attracted me to this palette. I think that the combination of neutrals, rose golds, and burgundy is perfect for both day and nighttime looks. Plus, the glitter-textured shades are SO fun but still very chic since they are in neutral and smoky tones.
The packaging is new and different for NARS with the pixelated graphic but I do love it. I also love the huge mirror it comes with. This has been perfect for travel. I’ve already taken it with me to Colorado and Mexico!
The NARS Wanted Eyeshadow palette is what I wanted from the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette (that I hardly ever used). The Naked 3 palette had a lot of light, cool-toned pink shades that didn’t look good on my medium-deep skin tone. The NARS Wanted Palette includes a good amount of warm tones and all of them are highly pigmented and blend really well.
This could easily be the only palette in my collection and I’d be happy with that. I’ve already given away many of my shadow palettes since buying this one. NARS is making my minimalism dreams come true.
