Today I’m going to be sharing my review of the new Gloss Bomb Cream Color Drip Lip Cream from Fenty Beauty in the shades:
- Fenty Glow – pink with a nude undertone
- Honey Waffles – medium brown tone
FENTY BEAUTY Gloss Bomb Cream Color Drip Lip Cream Review
The Cream Color Drip Lip Cream is the newest finish of Fenty Beauty’s very popular Gloss Bomb lipglosses. Whereas the original formula has a sheer tinted finish that you’d typically find in lip glosses, the Cream Color Drip Lip Cream has a creamy, more opaque finish.
On the first application, I could tell that I would love this new formula. These feel like butter when you put them on and stay put for a few hours before I need to reapply. They wear very comfortably on the lips, I didn’t find them sticky or tacky. They feel very moisturizing and they don’t slide around your lips.
Left: Fenty Glow; Right: Honey Waffles
The pigmentation of both is opaque with a high shine finish. Honey Waffles is described as a honey butter brown but I find that this shade had a peach undertone on me. Fenty Glow is true to its description of being a universal rose nude.

I really like both shades but I would most likely get more use out of Fenty Glow as it’s more natural for everyday wear. If I had to compare these glosses to another brand, I would say they’re similar to the NYX butter gloss but less sticky. I love the NYX Butter Gloss as a more budget-friendly option but I would choose the Fenty Lip Cream because they are more moisturizing and feel more nourishing on the lips.
I think I will be picking up one other shade in Cookie Jar which is described as a Chocolate Caramel. There were also 2 other shades released in this initial launch: Mauve Wive$ (rosy mauve) and Fruit Snackz (berry red). I don’t think those two fit me or my lifestyle, so I will pass on those.
Overall, I love this new formula and I can’t wait to see what other shades they come out with. Have you tried the new Gloss Bomb Creams? What’s your favorite shade so far?
