Ever since it was announced that Clarisonic would be going out of business, I’ve been looking for another option to replace it. Vanity Planet kindly gifted me some products to try out, one of them being their Raedia Facial & Body Cleansing Brush, and today I’m sharing my review. I’ve been using this brush for over 6 months now and it’s successfully replaced my old one.
The first thing that drew me to Raedia is the price. It’s $98, however, Vanity Planet is always running promos, so you can get the device, as well as a full set of brushes for up to half off. The replacement brushes are also super affordable at under $10 each. The affordability made me wonder if this device would be durable enough for everyday use but after 6 months of consistent use, the verdict is a yes.
The Raedia brush set comes with:
- 1 silicone brush for gentle cleansing
- 1 normal brush
- 1 exfoliating brush
- 1 body brush
- 1 battery operated Raedia base
Both the normal and exfoliating brush provides a nice foaming lather, while the silicone brush didn’t create as much foam. I love all of the brushes except the body brush as I felt it is too small and would take too long to clean my entire body.
Compared to the Clarisonic, the brush bristles on the Vanity Planet heads are longer and softer, so you have to be careful not to press too firmly against your skin, otherwise, the foam from your cleanser may end up flying everywhere.
Overall, I think that the Raedia is a great, budget-friendly option for a cleansing brush, while still being aesthetically pleasing. If you’re looking for an alternative to the Clarisonic or want to start using a cleansing brush for the first time, the Vanity Planet Raedia is a great choice.
