Lately, I’ve been thinking about my spending habits and how a large portion of my money goes to unnecessarily expensive products. This thought led to my decision to try to buy some of the drugstore brands of beauty products. I love high end makeup. Actually, I’m obsessed. But I don’t need overly expensive makeup wipes or nail polish remover or even mascara. So I headed over to Target to give these products a try.
I’ve been eyeing L’Oreal’s Infallible eyeshadows for a while now. I watched a few youtube videos and heard some people mentioning Amber Rush. I am obsessed with coppery eyeshadow colors, so naturally I was drawn to Amber Rush.
I really the the Infallible eyeshadow formula. It has a very smooth texture and is very pigmented. I wore this without an eyeshadow primer and it literally lasted all day. I would recommend this color to anyone.

I purchased the clump crusher mascara. It claims to increase lash volume by 200%. I don’t know about that, but I do like the results (below). I’ve been wearing this for about a week and I really like it. It isn’t too wet so it doesn’t leave my lashes too crunchy. It’s water resistant but it is easily removed.
Even though I will never give up my love for high-end makeup, I will be trying out more drugstore products. Hopefully, I can find more gems like these!
