Life Update: I Moved to New York + New Directions for TLM

  I’ve been living in New York for a week and I still can’t believe it. We packed the Uhaul last Saturday and hit the road at about 4 am on Sunday morning. A 19-hour trip turned into a 25-hour trip and we arrived in the city at 5 am on Monday morning. The first week here was a whirlwind of unpacking, several visits to Ikea and Target, building furniture and arranging (and rearranging) rooms.

I’m now into my second week here and I’m all settled in and the job hunt has begun. In the mean time, I’ve also been exploring the city and thinking up ways to incorporate new content on my site. I’ve decided to move away from the personal style content on this blog and turn it into a full site where my readers can contribute to the conversation. You can still find my style and beauty reviews here but I want it to be a two way conversation where we can talk about fashion and style news and pop culture. I also want to talk about things that young adults care about. I’m still cooking up ideas but you will be seeing some new directions on the site very soon.
