I recently did a blog post as a part of a blogger challenge with Farfetch.com (read it here). I was invited along with a small group of bloggers to do a blog post showcasing one of the Spring 2016 runway trends. Farfetch picked three of their favorite posts and awarded the winning bloggers a voucher to use on their site. I did not expect to win but I did! I’m so thankful to Farfetch for allowing me to participate in the challenge and for picking me as a winner.
This voucher came just in time for my birthday, so I decided to treat myself to some grown-up accessories. I’ve never purchased anything from Saint Laurent before and felt that it was the perfect designer to get some items from. It’s time to become who I am.
Being the “luxe minimalist” that I am, I wanted to get something that was high quality, minimal but not the average piece. I wanted it to be something that would hold its value, can be resold if desired, and fits my style. Enter the Saint Laurent Paris 5 Fragments Zip Pouch. I am a sucker for pouches. (My best friend calls them my trinkets.)
The zip pouch arrived two days after I placed my order from a shop called Vitkac in Warsaw, Poland. It came in a little brown box and inside was the beautiful black Saint Laurent box. Inside, there was a swatch of the leather, the authenticity card, care guide, a card with all the style info, and the zip pouch inside its own duster bag.
I love that this card holder also has a zip pouch to hold change and a few bills but it’s still small enough for my pocket or summer bag (more info coming soon). I got the zip pouch in navy blue with grained textured calf-skin leather and it is so beautiful. It has silver accent writing and the zipper is also silver. On the site, it looked black to me but I am happy with this accident. If it were left up to me all the clothing and accessories I own would be black so the navy blue is a nice change.

I don’t own a lot of wallets so this will be my everyday wallet from now own. I want to step it up a little bit more with my style and practice more of my luxe minimalist lifestyle. Usually, I’m an impulsive shopper and I end up hating everything I buy. I’m going to start experimenting with my style more and saving up for the things I really want.
This wallet was actually on my wish list before winning this blogging challenge, so I’m happy to have been able to snag it. I think this is the perfect introduction to Saint Laurent and I can’t wait to discover more of the brand. I have one other thing arriving that I ordered from them and I’m excited to share it with you all. Stay tuned for more of my Farfetch haul.
