The shows have just wrapped at Paris Fashion Week: Haute Couture and I found myself clicking through Vogue Runway once again, fantasizing about living a life where I’d have occasions to wear those grand designer looks. The couture shows are so fun to look at but there was one show that I felt I could actually see myself in all of the looks: Alexandre Vauthier Fall 2017 Couture.
I found myself saving a bunch of the looks from the Alexandre Vauthier Fall 2017 Couture show for future reference. It sparked something that had been missing for a long time. Suddenly, I’m excited to dress up and take on life. See my Fall 2017 style inspo below.
Power. Glam. Cool. Feminine. Smart. This is how I describe not only the suit paired with feather trimmed pumps pictured above, but all of the looks in the show. However, the look above was my favorite of them all. It’s wearable, but still makes such a strong statement. This look embodies how I want to feel everyday of my life, for the rest of my life.
Fall 2017 Uniform
All black has and always will be a favorite of mine but Alexandre Vauthier takes it to new levels with these two outfits. I literally want the outfit on the left to be my daytime uniform and the outfit on the right to be my nighttime look. They’re both perfect for New York City.
We all know by now that Alexandre Vauthier knows how to do a good evening look. These two are, again, powerful, sexy, and glam. I can 100% see these on the red carpet of an awards show in the future. Keep an eye out for them.
This show really made me look forward to fall dressing and evolving my style by trying new looks. Do runway shows ever inspire your style, or do you find inspiration through streetstyle and everyday life?
