6 Luxury Makeup Products That Are Worth The Price

Being a blogger comes with certain responsibilities, such as testing new products and giving you my honest opinion of each, telling you what products are actually worth the price. I’ve tried a bunch of luxury beauty products over the years and some were hits and some were misses. Below are the best high-end makeup products that I feel are worth the price. You can’t go wrong with any of these products, so if you’re looking to up the quality of your beauty collection, I highly suggest checking out any of the below.

Dior Backstage Face & Body Foundation

I’ve talked about this foundation so much already, so if you’re a regular reader or follow me on Instagram, you’ve seen and heard about just why I love this foundation so much. If you’re new here, the main reasons are the wide shade range (40 to be exact), the soft matte finish, and the buildable coverage. It helps me get that glow I like, even while still being matte enough to keep my combo oily skin in check. Win-win! Full review here.

Chanel Le Volume De Chanel Mascara

A newer addition to my makeup routine but definitely here to stay, Chanel’s Le Volume De Chanel Mascara puts all other mascaras to shame. It gives me all of the volume (note: drama) that I look for in my mascara. It grips all of my lashes no matter the length, and of course, I also love the sleek design of the packaging. Full review here.

Charlotte Tilbury Eyes To Mesmerise

This was my first purchase form Charlotte Tilbury and what a great introduction to the brand it’s been. The Eyes to Mesmerise cream eyeshadow has seen me through many lazy moments when I didn’t feel like putting effort into my eye look. This multidimensional shadow always comes through to help me look glam and put together. Full review here.

Diorskin Nude Air Luminizer

Of course, I couldn’t do a best high-end products post without mentioning my favorite highlighter. I was highly upset to find out that the original version of this Dior highlighter was discontinued until I saw that it had only been reformulated. This frosted golden highlighter melts into the skin to give my cheekbones the perfect sheen. I’m actually obsessed with this and reach for it more than any of my other highlighters.

Chanel Joues Contraste Powder Blush

One of my first products from Chanel, the Joues Contraste Powder Blush changed my view on what makeup should feel like. This butter, velvety blush seamlessly blends in to give me a fresh wash of color. It smells of roses and I even like the brush that comes in the compact, which is saying a lot.

Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Sheer Powder

I ran to the Chanel counter (actually, I hoped on Chanel.com because I didn’t want to leave my house) when I heard that this was the product author and former Teen Vogue Editor-in-chief, Elaine Welteroth, used to get her California sun-kissed glow. This product does exactly what the name implies, which is gives a healthy glow to the skin.

Chanel Rouge Coco Gloss

Available in 31 shades, this moisturizing lipgloss gives your lips a healthy amount of pigmentation and shine. Made of Coconut Oil, Peptides and Vitamin E, and an exclusive Hydraboost Complex, the texture is buttery instead of tacky like a lot of other glosses I’ve tried. There are also a few different finishes from shimmers to opaque.

If you made it this far into the post, enjoy this GRWM video to see the products in action! As you can see from above, I’m a big fan of Chanel and Dior beauty. I feel like the brand doesn’t skimp on quality. They formulate their products with the best ingredients and innovations to bring us the highest-quality of makeup. They’re definitely currently my top two luxury makeup brands. What are some of your high-end favorites?
