Name?
Coreyiel [Corey – yell]; Corey, for short.
Where are you from and where do you currently live?
I’m originally from New Orleans but I’ve been living in New York for two years. New York is definitely much different from living in New Orleans. I miss it a lot but I had to move to New York for the vast amount of job opportunities in beauty/fashion.
What do you do for a living?
I am currently working in Public Relations for a popular makeup brand.
What is your dream career?
My dream career is to work for myself as an entrepreneur, still in the beauty and lifestyle industry. I’d love the freedom to work for myself, creating beautiful products that other girls like me could use.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
New York has always been my dream city to live in. On my list, after New York, is Los Angeles. All I know about LA is what I see on tv but if it’s as clean, healthy, and beautifully sunny as I perceive it to be, I think I’d love to live there.
What is your zodiac sign?
I am a true gemini. I have mood swings, though I try to keep them in check. I am self-aware, always analyzing the way I do everything. I can be indecisive. I can be a social butterfly and awkward at the same time.
Favorite color?
It depends on the thing but I love black, white, and gray. I also love soft colors like powdery pinks and blues.
Favorite thing(s) to do?
My favorite things to do are explore NYC, take pictures, find new restaurants and coffee shops, organizing my space, and writing about beauty.
Coffee or Wine?
BOTH.
Favorite Movie?
It was The Devil Wears Prada but now I’d say it’s any of The Avengers movies.
What’s one thing people don’t know about you?
I only have 1 dimple; it’s in my right cheek and I love it.
If you could give someone advice about anything, what would you tell them?
You can do and be anything that you want! I know it’s cliché but it’s so true and once you start believing this, you’ll see the universe move in ways that favor how you want to live your life.
